What Is the Office of Small Business?

The Portland Office of Small Business (part of Prosper Portland) works directly with local business owners to help them access city resources, navigate permitting, and connect with support programs. Their district liaisons make it easy to get face-to-face help without the runaround.

This is not a political event — it’s a practical, no-pressure opportunity for local business owners to meet the people at Prosper Portland who can help with real challenges.

Who Will Be There?

At this month’s District 4 office hours, you’ll have the chance to meet and talk with:

Julieanna Elegant, District Liaison, Portland Office of Small Busines (elegantj@prosperportland.us).

Representatives from Land Use and Permitting who can answer questions about development, signage, zoning, and more.

NWCC’s Executive Director, including Chase, who is here to connect you with district resources and support.

What Can You Get Help With?

Whether you’re just getting started or have been operating for years, office hours are a great chance to get answers on topics like:

•       City permits and licensing

•       Business development resources and funding programs

•       Land use and zoning questions

•       Navigating city requirements and regulations

•       Connecting with the right people at the city

No Appointment Needed: Just Drop In

This is a casual, drop-in format. There’s no agenda, no sign-up, and no pressure. Come when you can, stay as long as you need, and leave with real answers and new connections.

We’d love to see you there. The more Pearl District and NW Portland businesses who take advantage of these free resources, the stronger our community becomes.
