Effective today, if you need to call Portland Street Response (PSR), call this dedicated number:

503-823-PSR3 (7773)

The new, expanded hours are 6:00 am - Midnight, Monday-Sunday

If you encounter someone in need of a wellness check or people experiencing mental health and/or behavioral health crises, call this number to access the PSR response.

The information provided will still be triaged by Bureau of Emergency Communications call takers, and PSR criteria will be applied. In the event another resource is more appropriate, the call taker will keep the caller on the line they dialed in on and send either different resources or make the appropriate referral.
